Talking Will they fit?

I've been looking to upgrade the 16" wheels on my 4X4 and had the opportunity today to buy a set of R34 Skyline GTR 18X9JJ ET30 magnesium wheels. These are highly sought after, are as rare as hen's teeth, and will make your bank manager wince if you kerb one and need to replace it. I also bought 2 Bridgestone Potenza RE040 245/40R18 93W tyres. Price paid for the set = far less than the cost of one new wheel.

The only problem I can see is that the GTR badges will need replacing somehow.......

Steady on Dennis....

Couldnt you get a badge made up to replace the current badge? I have seen so many Barried wheels with logos etc on the centre caps there must be a way of getting something more suitable.

Anyway, they look nice, so when do the neons go on too??

Actually, you sense a rather expensive visit to the dealers for 4 x Boot Badges..

Cost....don't ask

It's only money

Denis,

Measure the existing caps then take a look on ETKA for a similarly sized bonnet / boot badge..

Might be worth a try.

Dennis why not try Sam (aka Mas) I have a nice set of caps. I'm sure he will be able to accomodate your needs. Excellent quality too.

Denis

You could go one better and buy a set of REAL vRS wheels.

PS I also noticed some rather large cracks in your drive, could one help by quoting to replace it.

Don't want to be rude here, but shouldn't this thread be in my styling? Or do Skyline wheels really make the car faster - in which case you might ask why you're trying to change the caps

Well spotted, Des. The drive can accommodate 5 cars with each able to manoeuvre in/out so is quite big AND the concrete is rather thick SO would cost a fortune to replace. I'm up for an inexpensive quality job any time - but would prefer block paving to a tarmac skim...

I could almost buy a whole vRS for the price of those GTR wheels - but why would I want one?
