Your mission - Tippex removal...

A perk of the job some might say. They wouldnt be funny...

How do I get said tippex from the **** of my trousers?

I will accept any suggestions, and will probably try most in desperation.
They are 2 weeks old @ £65, so would like them back in tip top condition.

Tippex Thinners?

Although this will probably remove any colour from the area.

You will have to try a little somewhere you can't see, like the hem or something?

White Out Stain Removal

Use WD 40 liberally on both sides of the stain. Allow the WD-40 to penetrate through the stain. The stain will begin to loosen. Test by touching the stain. Small flecks of the white out should begin to come loose. Rinse thoroughly.

Step 2.

Lay the clothing on a clean white towel. Sponge nail polish remover onto both sides of the stain. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat the application of nail polish remover and continue to rinse until the stain is removed. Rinse the stained area thoroughly.

Step 3.

Finally, to remove any hidden traces of the stain, apply a stain stick, spray, or gel to the stained area and wash normally

How about this *google'd*

Scrape off as much of the white deposits as possible, as soon as possible. Clean off the remainder with a little white spirit.

They are talking about tipex here, right??

I would agree. Also if a tiny white mark is left you can put black marker pen over it to cover it up.

How did you get tipex on the seat of your pants anyway?

Acetone based nail polish remover as long as the trousers are not fully synthetic then wash or soak in water as soon as it is gone.
