| Crikey, sorry chaps I have been away over the weekend and missed this thread! Basically, for some quick info: Yes, I have developed the mapping for a superb increase whilst making sure there are no DPF issues with the 170PD's....... Unfortunately, I don't have the marketing power of some of the mentioned tuners, but you may be surprised to know that P-Torque were mapping the 170PD's just 2 months after they came out. I did advertise this on the forum a good while back. I have also been thinking about arranging a group buy for the Briskoda members, but haven't got round to it yet, there seems to be interest, so I will try and get one arranged soon If anyone wants to ask questions about the 170PD's or tuning in general, then feel free to e-mail me at info@p-torque.co.uk or call me on 01902 324584 Thanks Will

| Well i have finally bitten the bullet and travelled up to see Will yesterday. Took about an hour but was certainly worth the wait. The journey back to Exeter was showed just how much more performance the car now has. Sixth gear pulls like a train between 80-100 and makes overtaking so much easier. Had a chance to have a quick play today and acceleration in 2nd, 3rd and 4th is massively better. It was pouring with rain, so had to be careful. Plant your foot at 50 in 3rd and the wheels started to spin, so much torque. Also, seems nicer to drive around town as the power is delivered much more smoothly. Fuel consumption seems unchanged for normal driving as well. Only been 24 hours but I would definitely recommend to anyone considering, especially for £295, bargain. Thanks again Will for a top job. |
