| Re: Blurred pics Are they blurry in bright light without flash? If your camera is using flash then you'd expect the light to be too low to get a sharp picture without due to shutter speeds?

| Re: Blurred pics Picture taken indoors with your compact on auto, will almost certainly give you a very slow shutter speed, hence blurred pictures. If the flash was used it will freeze any movement due to the very short flash lighting, therefore the pictures appear sharper. Those are basic principles. So use flash indoors if your subject is close, outdoors on a bright day should be OK. Post a couple of pics with the exif, and we can advise better.

| Re: Blurred pics Most digicams have some kind of warning to tell you to use flash -a flashing LED or something. Is this telling you to use flash? I would guess that you don't have enough natural light to take the pic. Phil |

| Re: Blurred pics Try using a tripod. With no flash, it will use a much longer exposure automatically, and so the slightest wobble will make a fuzzy image. Flash exposure is very quick. I have an old coolpix, and suffer the same thing. It's fine at daytime, but the flash is a bit pants to use at night / evenings.

| Re: Blurred pics Agree there. If i take without flash and iam holding it maybe i move it too quick after hence the blurred effect.I tried sitting it on a wall and then done one and it was clear and no fuzziness.
