If I could offer some comments, you've got your own shadow in the 3rd picture with the octy at the docks, quite hard to avoid and I've made the same mistake when in St Andrews with long shadows. Ended up having to put it on lowish tripod and zoom in to subject from further away to avoid it. Keep up the good work
