| Re: OMG! It Begins! the abs sensor is actually on the back of the hub on the felicia so it would indeed be possible to retain the abs. but i'm going without abs on mine.... infact one of my hubs is from an abd model on one isn't |

the corrado discs have a different offset, and they are thicker, plus you cant just bolt up the caliper because the carriers wont fit.. Quote:

| Re: OMG! It Begins! it needs to be 17.6mm thick... you may notice that in the top is a dimension marked 129mm... these are two holes drilled in the top for the radial mounting calipers. all the holes are 8.5mm diameter which is the tapping size for a standard M10 thread.... if anybody on here can assist me in manufacturing these (from a supplied dxf file or whatever format you want) from aluminium please let me know |

| Re: OMG! It Begins! 18mm thick is getting pretty thick for most laser cutting, and plasma will give a pretty crappy edge finish. I would guess that machining from block would be the best option. You will need to machine all 4 holes anyway. Good thread though, keep it up. Oh, I can direct you to a free copy of Pro/Engineer solid modeling, if you fancy an upgrade from that 2D stuff![]() Great thread....keep it up. Phil
