Very, very, VERY, fine Wet & Dry for smoothing, and Scotchbrite for the CleaningYet to strip the innards out and Polish the Valves and the Air/Exhaust Tubes - then Reseat all the Valves

I was going to say beforegoing to all that bother I would at least take the valves out and check the seats and gudes. Be a shame to waste that time only to realise the head is knackered anyhow.

Luckily, i bought the head from a perfectly working car which was broken due to bodywork rot

Just doing some light fettling for a little extra smoothness, maybe a gain in something if i'm lucky
