Use of speed - quote

For many years the public was encouraged to believe that any motorist or motorcyclist in the habit of travelling fast was, ipso facto, a dangerous, irresponsible person, who should not only have had his licence suspended but should have been put in prison and if possible certified as a lunatic. Really, of course, it is quite the other way about.

Ive seen lots of these kind of posts lately - roadcraft etc. Do you eat sleep and breath this stuff at the mo? Or is it just a new hobby?

Also: It's not speed that kills, it's the very sudden stop from it that does the damage.
