Confused

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Select plus switch and the SPS 3? I have been shown the Select Plus and it comes with PC program and USB cable and information is transerred onto the Select plus switch then plugged into port on car. Does the SPS 3 work the same? Or are all the settings and adjustments done on the switch itself?

Cheers,
Gary

Re: Confused

SPS3 can stand alone on settings, Select Plus needs to be programed via PC to set ECU.

With Select Plus you can program A-B-C user-preset modes to your needs and then plug it to OBD to set ECU parameters, or you can just set directly the ECU if you are using a laptop.
Additional you can read what settings you had put in the ECU last time you had dig it.

Personaly I use b0-t0-f0 on mode A (car revs only 3.000rpm), b7-t5-f9 on B (everyday use) and b9-t6-f9 for C to use it on "fight-clubs".

Great tool...

Re: Confused

Gary, we introduced the Select Plus when we had to build a switch to support the TFSI and newer cars. We then stopped making the SPS3 and made the Select Plus to support all cars the SPS3 did.
So it's really the new age SPS3.
