Re: Hi Volume Fuel Pump - 2.0TFSI

Now that things are "working" again on my car... I'm feeling the urge to spend

Did you guys go for the Autotech Pump or the complete and expensive install from what'ser'other'cpmpany'called?

Just planning for the future; EVOMS, Forge Twintercooler, Miltek Exhaust and the Koni/Eibach setup are all on the list.

I was told by Dave at ADS today that the Fuel Pump is essential if you plan on going to stage 2

Re: Hi Volume Fuel Pump - 2.0TFSI

you are priceless mate, one minute it's the end of the world and now you want to go berserk!!

You can go StageII without the fuel pump but be prepared for fuel cut but if it were my money I'd defiinately buy the Koni FSD's & Eibach Springs first and then worry about other performance enhancing mods a bit later. Oh, we went for the self install Autotech pump parts which means removing the high pressure fuel pump which is a little bit scary the first time around!

I believe you will be at WSM in March and I'll hopefully be able to update you on progress with the fuel pump and I'd be happy to let you have a drive round the block if you like

Re: Hi Volume Fuel Pump - 2.0TFSI

Very interesting thread. Did I miss something in among it with regard to what the cars are making with the fuel pump added over standard stage 2 with full exhaust, filter etc?

Looks like there is an extra 15bhp+ to be had with the new pump but will know more in the coming week.

Re: Hi Volume Fuel Pump - 2.0TFSI

Well I dont think REVO will mind me posting as to my thoughts now that I have the full fat version of what will be StageII+ fully functioning and operational on my car

You already know my thoughts on the fuel pump which are hugely favourable and now with what REVO have done with the sofware to iron out the fueling issues it's quite something . Pretty much any gear at any revs put your foot down and you'll find yourself at the opposite end of the high street very quickly indeed.

First class stuff imo and a big to Nick for the mapping work, you really know your stuff!

As to the final release of this you will have to wait for the official announcement from REVO but I dont think it will be too long

Oops. Having said that though you are reasonably local so could just 'pop' down and upset everyone.
