If you know how to remove the DPF from a Superb 140 whilst not sending the warning lights into a colurful display & leaving the car running OK you will solve my problem

Poor james, he was only asking how the day went!!!
i know we struggled to see the bhp figures on the TFSI cars but you gotta be happy with 320 lb.ft Makefish . remember that bhp is pub talk but lb.ft wins races.

I'm well aware of that but to say we 'struggled' to achieve the bhp figures is an understatement, it's just not feasible!. Why then publish figures that are plainly unrealistic?. You know full well that I am very happy with the performance and have got over the intial 'shock' of the first set of results but it does annoy me that 255bhp is still published as achievable from a REVO Stage I map when clearly it is'nt and yet the published torque figures are somewhat conservative !.

How many runs on a rolling road have we to do to convince you, we've done around 100 between us on three sets of rollers with 6 different cars, and don't try and use that one off 'rogue run' on me either!!!.

James, I must stress this is not a persoanal attack on you but unfortunately you have inadvertently refreshed a debate that I feel this time must be sorted one way or the other.

JKM's rolling road is nice and accurate judging by what the standard car's were pushing...

I agree 100% with Steve, I don't think this should be taken personally by anyone at Revo but the figures don't stack up at all. I have not seen a single mk2 vRS on stage 1 make more than around 236 and it's the same for Audi 2.0T's and Mk5 Golf GTi's on other forums, I have been doing a fair bit of web trawling since the RR day

When I go to work next week to teach a course, I am paid for 5 days, I cant stop on Thursday and say "thats all I can do folks, but I am taking the 5 days worth of money and Friday off!!"

I would say there seems to be a great variance in dealerships, JKM where very professional, doing the job, testing, plugging the car into a charger to get the required voltage etc etc.

My dealer in the NW, took 15 minutes, never tested it, never put it on a charger and took a big wedge of my hard earned.

I still think it's probably the best option for a 2.0TFSi at the moment, but a little wide of the websites quoted figures

I agree too -

So the issue seems to be that if the software is advertised as being able to do something then surely it must be capable of doing that - on a repeatable basis.

If you can't prove that then surely you must revise your claims.

Exactly. None of the Revo Stage 1 TFSI Octavias I've seen have made anywhere near Revo claims .

Altho numbers mean nothing when driving the car, I have driven a Stage 1 Octavia vRS and the experience is quite remarkable

It's gone a little quiet from REVO and somewhat conspicuous by your abscence of comments/answers on this thread, do you have anything to say ?.

Guessing a web site edit might be in progress?

It would make sense based on figures seen, plus I think (I dont have the map as I have a different car of course) that everyone with the stage 1 Revo for the Octy Mk2 vRS (petrol) is actually very happy with the way it transforms the car, in all fairness

Oh absolutely, there has never been any doubt that it's a first class stage 1 map . Just can't make the quoted bhp figure that's all!.
