| Problem solved - remap is now off. I took the car back to get diagnosed and turns out its possibly a fault with the turbo Something to do with the vanes sticking shut causing too much pressure. So it wasnt a software problem it was a mechanical one.Anyway, its off now and the car's much more driveable! I was getting sick of the juddering from the flywheel/cluch and now its gone Also I cant get the car to overboost like it did so not as much risk of being caught out on the wrong side of the road with the turbo cutting out. I was expecting the car to feel sh*t-slow but there isnt actually that much difference because I can use all the torque now at lower revs. But what an expensive lesson. The guy at ADS was helpful, he diagnosed it, removed the Revo software and said if he'd put the map back on if I wanted. ![]() Now roll on the day I can buy a new car ![]() Last edited by Dave_Fox; 27-10-2006 at 18:35. |

| If the vanes are sticking on your turbo, can you not get a replacement one under warranty? |

| As it is modified. Skoda wouldn't take no responsibility for it. |

| So I was right in thinking their was a problem with it over or under boosting. In your case overboosting. Well least you know what causing it.
