Opinions about REVO

Hi,

I want to remap my Skoda Octavia estate 1.8 T (150cv) and there is company who do that by REVO in Portugal.

What are your opinion about REVO?
How many bhp could it increase?

Revo is quality code.

My car (PD130) runs it, and I love it.

Depending if your turbo is a 'K03' or a 'K03S' you will get ~190bhp/210lbft or ~215bhp/240lbft with a remap (those are ball park figures).

There's quite a few cars in portugal that i know of runnning revo, one of which - a Seat Toledo PD150 - which has done over 100,000KM whilst revo'd, which is pretty good product endorsement itself

Had my vRS Revo'd a few months ago, performance is fantastic. If I was to be critical I would say that the car is not quite as smooth as stock, you get a very very slight haesitation between 3000 and 4000 rpm on slight load but it realy is very very slight. The throttle response is amazing, you won't regret it

i have just had the 4bar upgrade on my vrs (ko3s turbo).it was dyno'd last sunday at 221.9 bhp and 257.1 lbs ft of torquei am very happy with the performance.
theres a guy on www.seatcupra.net he has revo and lives in portugal his name is paulo,can't think for the life of me his username right now,he may be able to point you toward a dealer over there,good luck you'll enjoy it

partir deste mês a empresa Power e Speed Representações Lda. importa o software Revo. Este software serve para aumentar a potencia dos automóveis do grupo VAG através da ficha de diagnostico. Presentemente está disponivel para os TDI PDs e os 1.8T. O leque será alargado para os restantes motores TDI até ao fim do verão. Os automóveis diesel do grupo BMW e Mercedes estarão disponiveis até ao fim do ano. Os produtos da Revo são reprogramações da centralina com possibilidade do dono ligar e desligar a programação através do porta OBD (SPS1). Nos carros a gasolina também dá para ajustar a pressão do turbo e o avanço do motor (9 posições para cada através do SPS3). Aos membros do tuningonline.pt vão oferecer um desconto de 10% até ao final do mês de Julho. Os contactos da Power e Speed são Ribeira de Baixo 2480-168 Porto de Mós, Tel. 244491455.

Had mine done by Big Boys Toys in Thurrock 2 weeks ago with the 4 bar FPR and Forge DV.
Im well pleased with it, acceleration is excellent although i sometimes get a little surge when lifting early.

Revo = quiet an aggresive map I believe, plenty fast, realistic figures. SPS3 = unlimited tweaking to suit new mods and ambient conditions.

Paulo is great person and very nice. I had talk to him and I will trie the REVO demo, but I want to know your opinion about REVO.
I have read some post's and most of the user's of www.briskoda.net have choose the REVO to remap the ECU.

The year of my car is 2001, so I think it have the turbo K03s, it's correct?

In Portugal there are dm (digital modifications), smartchip, pke, vilauto competições....I can't remember no more
