| hey revo guys i had a re-map on my fab vrs done a few months ago i recently went ito a skoda garage to have a cambelt fitted and a service and they informed me there was a problem fortunatly it was a friendly garage who knew i had it re-mapped (it was them who recomended it) they said there was a fault showing on the diagnostic computer which should have switched the light on that is on my dash (the engine manegment light) but the light was not coming on they checked the bulb but that was working the onl thing i can think is that it is the re-mapp that was causing it the fault code is 17957 p1549 035 turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid (a) open/short circuit they cleared the fult from the memory and took the car for a drive then brouht it back and tryed again and it was showing fault again how can i sort this problem and have you had this before please help i think the problem is caused by the re-map because the re-map is stopping the warning light from coming on Last edited by jacklockwood; 16-10-2006 at 19:40. |

| Re: problem with re-map Sorry, I meant talk to the actual person who mapped it if he hasnt already. That should always be the first port of call.
