| Re: Recommended Revo Specialist in South Looking at the link posted by another poster to the rolling road gallery, it would appear that the fabia vrs with the amd remap is pumping out better figures than the one with the revo remap. Is this simply down to the revo one being kept down to reduce increased load on components or is the amd remap simply more powerful? |

thanks for your advice. I'm not really knowledgeable enough on this stuff yet to put your advice into practice and start analysing the graphs. It's just that the peak bhp for the revo remap in that gallery only seemed to be approx 10bhp more than what the other 'standard' fabia was putting out. This didn't seem like good value for money on a £399+VAT remap. However, since I don't really know my stuff, I wanted to make sure I hadn't got the wrong end of the stick! | |

| Re: Recommended Revo Specialist in South Also IIRC the REVO car was mapped on the day and the car hadn't really settled down. Other factors such as fuel quality can have an effect to. REVO do offer a money back promise if you aren't happy.

| Re: Recommended Revo Specialist in South Cheers Stu. So it's normal for the improvement in bhp to be on the 'low' side to start off with, but it then settles down and increases over a bit of time? That would make sense. |

| Re: Recommended Revo Specialist in South ECU's are adaptive so it is possible that it would improve once settled yes. The TFSi that was mapped on the day also produced lower figures than the other REVO'd TFSi's that were there. REVO certainly isn't te most powerful map on the market, you'd need a custom map for that. REVO is a mass market product and thus does err on the side of caution.

| Re: Recommended Revo Specialist in South I'd have a careful look over the power/torque graphs of each map. I found the One Click AmD map on my first Fabia to be quite 'spikey' in its power delivery. Steve
