Welcome.

Does the sps + for the 2.0 fsiT work with the stage 2 Revo map? Also, what gains over the stage one, does stage two offer, on say.....a Octavia Vrs2, with performance exhaust and a k+n panel filter?
Also, are Revo aware of the cutting out problem on the FsiT, caused by upping boost on some cars, particularly ones fitted with induction kits?

TIA
Dave

Erm, I would've thought you knew most of the answers to that Dave. But to give the benefit of the doubt, here's what I know.

1. You can't use the SPS device for the T FSI, you need the 'Select' or 'Select Plus'
2. See the "StageII REVO" thread. Will be sticking mine on a RR in October, will let you know how it goes.
3. The cutting out issue has not been a problem for me (as yet!) and hope you find the solution soon, can't bear any more "I'm Selling My Car" type threads

Re: Revo James

There is no SPS+ but a select plus. This works with all the TFSi code, including Stage2.

Stage 2 code is slightly more aggressive throughout the rev range than stage1 and also offers a wider range of adjustment with the switches. We can do this as the uprated hardware (downpipe, cat, exhaust, intake, intercooler) reduces the EGT (exhaust gas temperatures), AIT (Air intake temps) allowing more timing to be run. In regards to overall power, Revo Kev actually posted a graph in the Revo section on Briskoda that you could link to. (http://www.briskoda.net/forums/revo-...-0t-fsi/59811/)

In regards to the problem mentioned, yes we've heard of other companies running into problems with this but we've had no complaints and have pushed upto 300bhp without problems. We can only assume it's a problem with competitors tuning.

Careful James

The guy your replying to has had first hand experience of REVO stage 2 problems, with it cutting boost etc, so not so much a competitor's problem

Second hand JATO unit from a C130 and about 20 miles of straight road (no canyon wall at the end is preferable)

On a serious note, are we talking 300 at the crank or the wheels?

There don't seem to be any complaints about Stage 1 REVO (yours is the first I have heard of m8), and Makefish is happy with stage 2 so far, maybe the aggressive settings on certain maps are to much for certain cars ECU's or whatever. More aggressive TFSi remaps (ala Revo st 2) seem to be something of a lottery at the moment though.

Re: Revo James

My bad, i meant the select plus, not the sps plus. As far as I know, so far, no one has sucessfully run an induction kit, either on competitor's maps, or Revo maps, without running into the cutting out I mention.

Also James, can you clarify if the select plus can be used to optimise the car for 99 ron fuel?
