| REVO on my Fabia vRS Hey all Thought I'd post in here about my recent trip to JBS Auto Designs in Chesterfield and what I came away with! As you'll all know, I'm good friends with James and the whole crew down at JBS so it was inevitable that I'd end up getting REVO installed on my new Fabia! Well, in less than 15 minutes of me arriving, James told me to "go play"... Anyone who's seen any REVO adverts will know that this is their tag line, so I realised that was "code" for "you're car is going to be bloody fast now josh". I went out for a spin and came back with roughly the same look on my face as when I first arrived. James was concerned! He asked if I thought it had made a big difference... I had to honestly reply "erm, no, not really mate". Oh dear I thought! James responded back "you did stop halfway through your joyride with your engine turned off for 10 seconds, didn't you??" Oops, no I had forgotten that bit!!! James pointed at my car and said "get back in there"... OH - MY - GOD I drove out of JBS onto the main road, gently through 1st, then stuck my foot down in 2nd... SCREEEEEEEEECH!!! The thing just lit up all the way through 2nd gear!!! I wasn't expecting that, I can tell you!! So, round the block I went, grinning from ear to ear! I came back into JBS with the biggest of grins and James just said "nice isn't it". Yes, yes it is. It's SO smooth, power delivery is very linear and the speed just creeps up on you (very quickly I might add!). On my trip to the coast with a friend (who owns a very fast R32) I had NO problems keeping up on the straight bits (round corners was another story, but I'm hoping to address that soon lol). Best bit is, I was getting 47mpg even when pushing on! I'm very very impressed. I spoke to Kev (JBS's head technician) today and he said when he first drove a REVO'd Fabia vRS he decided he's going to buy one for himself!! It really is that good! |

| G;ad your happy mate, I knew you'd enjoy the Fabia. You could write a review of the Revo Fabia vRS code in the Reviews section. That way it will be on hand to people to browse when this thread has gone down the list a bit. |

| Josh, glad you're happy. Get the brakes done next, be a bit of a bugger without them, the slippery slope is rather steep ![]()

| Briskodian | Mine is so much smoother and willing to rev since the Revo remap - if I switch it back to standard it feels like there's something wrong with it - breathless and unresponsive ![]()

| I couldn't imagine switching back to stock mode after having Revo! |

| Site Sponsor | Hey Josh, it's actually quite amusing turning back to stock once in a while... it puts in perspective how much you get used to the power increase. I need to buy a sensible road car now, quite tempted by a Fabia VRS if I'm going for new! |
