| Revo software for diesel Scout/4x4 Hi Guys, I have looked into having my Scout's power increased by the Revo software & have had a good response from the guys at JKM, however I wanted to know if there is anyone here that has had the 'upgrade' done on a 2.0TDI 4x4/Scout with the Haldex system & preferably with DPF? Ta.

| Briskodian | Re: Revo software for diesel Scout/4x4 I have 2.0TDi 4x4. I had Bluefin installed about a week ago, so far very positive. A very smooth drive, more low down power and very responsive throttle, more flexibility in the gears. Sensible driving MPG slightly improved. Although it's very easy to enjoy the upgrade which tends to use more fuel for obvious reasons |

| Re: Revo software for diesel Scout/4x4 Hi Merlin, Thanks for the reply, I have been searching around for posts regarding the DPF & it seems that certain digital tuning box companies had some issues with the DPF in the early days but not quite sure on the history, although they seem to be selling them now - does yours have a DPF? The DPF question is really the only thing thats holding me back, otherwise I would jump in with both feet .Anyone else with Revo/Bluefin etc running with a DPF? Thanks, W.

| Re: Revo software for diesel Scout/4x4 Well got a reply back from Superchips today after asking them if they could confirm if there are any known issues with the DPF after a re-map, this was stated clearly but it seems they were trying to avoid the question & just gave me the usual sales spiel..... "Rediscover the joy of the open road Thank you for your interest in a Superchips remap for your Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDi 140bhp. The Superchips custom map is performed within safe tolerances so as not to compromise vehicle reliability. | Re: Revo software for diesel Scout/4x4 I think your best bet is to try and get the opinions of other drivers of similar engines. There are a couple I know of so perhaps a more direct post asking for info would help.

| Briskodian | Re: Revo software for diesel Scout/4x4 Wilkopilko I do have a DPF as far as I'm aware. I have not had Bluefin long enough to endores it fully, but as above in the short time I've had it, I'm very happy. With town driving/speed resticted areas fuel economy is noticably improved. I went direct to Superchips and found them helpful and seemingly genuine, they also offer a discount for readers of this forum. When I've done a few 1000 miles I will be better informed. |
