Are you talking about a standard 130 or a modified 130??

I mean - when you remap a PD130, the percentage power increase is greater than the percentage power increase of a remapped 110

Yes, if you get a box at the default setting on a 110 and a similar box on a 130 at default setting, then the bhp increase will be more on the 130, but the % increase will still be say 20%

Why are we talking about the 130, i thought this was about the 110?

It is about the 110. I was just saying that because there is quite a lot of talk on here about remapping PD130's.

I'm assuming this was a custom remap for £500-£600?

A 110 with software on will see around 135-140bhp with 220-225ftlb of torque. The software supports an SPS1 which would let you switch between stock and performance mode. Software cost is £399+vat

164bhp from an otherwise standard 110??? Eh!

That's a little more realistic, we quote relatively low on the 110tdi software as a lot of the earlier Golfs that run the same engine have a fair few miles on them and aren't always the best runners!
