| earlier this afternoon i went out to van to put the drills away, whilst standing there a bungee that was quite taut holding the tool boxes in place lost its grip and found its way to my left gonad. at this moment in time i very nearly passed out and virtually laid in the van on my front in absolute agony, I didn't know whether to throw up, poo, wee or pass out the pain was amazing. but now after a couple hours or so it still hurts like hell and i still feel a little sick so i called up NHS direct for some advice. The first woman that answered the phone promptly hung up on me and the second took my details whilst sounding very dubious and promised a call back that still hasn't happened an hour later. I'm in pain god damn it don't know whether the A&E are going to laugh at me. please don't take this thread as a joke and do nothing but take the micheal as i really am in pain with this ![]()

| Re: in agony, not a joke. NHS direct just called back, unless there is swelling/lumps/bumps or the pain increases or even if tomorrow it hasn't started to ease then is the time to get checked out but for its rest and pain killers. no heavy lifting or strenuous exercises. i think it hurt less when i stuck a Stanley knife in my leg last year ![]()

| Re: in agony, not a joke. Already brought a smile to mine lol. Know it must hurt like hell, but it made me chuckle. Bungie straps are lethal at the best of times, let alone when ones trying to remove a testical! I'd get it checked. Last think you want is to find that it twisted it or tore the connecting tube (can't remember for the life of me what its called) so I'd get it checked pronto.

the connecting tube is vas deferens. Bengie, you have my sympathy. I'm no stranger to being hit in the gonads. Though I usually go for low impact - doors, tea trolleys and bits of random office furniture...... ![]() | |

| Re: in agony, not a joke. Just in case the one in the kitchen fails you, it's nice to know that a tool box and bungee strap double up as a nutcracker, although admittedly, not in those circumstances. Get it checked out. Dunno how I'd survive without burgers next year ![]()

| Re: in agony, not a joke. Oi, sick note! Can you post a picture of said " injured gonads". I'm sure all will see the true extent of your injury, therefore a full diagnosis can be debated. ps; how's the Bungey Strap. ![]()
