| oh yes! i recommend the indoor entertainment in the red light district ( the strip shows not the hookers, i'm not desparate). the coffee shops are also a must and if you get time visit the heineken factory. some of the shops will open the most liberal of eyes! enjoy mark

| Worked there for over a year. Catch theTrain to Harlem from Central Station 15/20 minutes. Much better than Tourist Amsterdam, coffee shops half the price, twice the quality. Turn right out of the station, pass the taxi rank, turn left down the main road and Willy Wortels coffee shop on the right will start your day the way it should be. 50 euros will buy you enough for the weekend and you get some free. They also have maps showing where the other c/shops are. Once visited you will get the bus there straight from Schipol and forget about Amsterdam. Trust me! |

| Briskodian | Been three times, would like to go again. Last time I went, there was good hash bar that sold excellent hash, just down the alleyway to the right hand side of the big grasshopper, cant remember what it was called, but the hash was absolutely superb. Ahem... |
