"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

There are many threads where a guy has posted a pic of his pride and joy or recent mod, only to get slagged off by others. I am a firm believer in 'everyone to their own'. However, the recent revelations about our wonderful government has changed my view somewhat. A comment made in the pub the other night that i cannot agree with:
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
Why?
Prescott's secretary. Does she need a good optician?

Does he? She has no chin, for Gods sake. Saying that he has a spare one for her. Seriously though, she must do some stuff that his wife doesnt, because his wife appears to be a whole lot more glamorous than the lover.

Yup, I'll agree with that.

And last night she really was a beauty I've said too much, back off to sleep now, heavy night last night

Of course it was. Change 'ASDA' for 'Prescott' then. To think that some people actually voted for this muppet!!

Well, not many people get to vote for any individual MP due to the system of constituencies, not that this necessarily is a bad thing because it means that politics aren't based around personality cults as much. That said, interested to read yesterday that during 2005, 628 national newspaper headlines featured the word 'Cherie'

As for Prescott's secretary, I would .

Re: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

MPs in the House must be very fidgety when the subject of affairs comes up - I suspect many have had an affair of one sort or another, or certainly know of others who have.

I recall an episode of Frasier, when someone said "OK, stand up, you know who are! [taps fingers]" No-one was left sitting, Ooops!

Erm... ....yes...'not many people get to vote for any individual MP' i.e. you only get vote for your local MP so probably only around 40k in his constituency got to vote in the election that made him an MP. I didn't say that no-one gets to vote for any politician...
