| Re: Bikes from the 70's & 80's I thought the Chopper was only available in yellow, red(ish), purple (later) and lastly black towards the end of its life. I always wanted an Eddy Mercx racing bike, but ended up with a Peugeot racing bike which was much better. All my mates had Raliegh Arena's or Kalkhoff racing bikes.

| Re: Bikes from the 70's & 80's I lusted after Marin mountain bikes from a very early age. Was lucky enough to get a palisades one at the age of about 11, then I got a Rocky Ridge when I was about 14. )

- most people over here don't seem to remember them only remembering the Chopper. Was very cool out there as anything English was viewed as advanced Then had a Phillips bike (typical Indian / Chinese style thing) which was a 60s model ... they recycle things well over there!
