| Re: Broadband Wasn't aware any providers included the line-rental in their contract, but I'm with Plusnet who do a range of packages Home Broadband *<* PlusNet *|* Home Broadband Internet Packages UK Never had any problems with them and my current connection is "up to 8Mbit" and I'm seeing at least 7.5Mbit when I connect. | Re: Broadband I'm with PlusNet too, and they've been very good - especially when we moved house, and they sorted us out with access to an 0800 dial-up account while they did all the doings required to re-connect our broadband. My only criticism is that our connection seems to have slowed to 3-ish MBits from 8-ish MBits when we first got re-connected. Although judging by the number of Wi-Fi hubs nearby, contention could be something to do with it... Is this anything to do with your search for a girlfriend / partner (keeping your options open, eh?! ) Met my wife through internet dating!

| Re: Broadband Try ieSpell...ieSpell - Spell Checker add-on for Internet Explorer As to broadband, BT with the home hub and option for broadband phone and BT Vision is pretty good compared to the others who are all the same really IMHO... |

| Briskodian | Re: Broadband I would have said bethere but some others have had a few problems recently and after some issues ive had over the past few days with the refer a friend scheme i'm p*ssed off with them too. Go for whoever takes your fancy, in my experiance as long as you dont have to deal with customer services they are all great, as soon as you have to pick up the phone and speak with someone they are all crap whatever you do dont get stuck in a lengthy contract, you'll regret it if they suck oh btw ive just signed a 12 month contract with sky ![]() and an 18 month one with virgin mobile ![]() ![]() |

| Briskodian | Re: Broadband If you want good customer service above a good price then Zen Internet are the way forward.. Be the service is fine except I still don't have a modem and am just finding out the right law to direct them at to prove that "we sent it so it is your problem" doesn't wash.

| Re: Broadband People.. Its not the broadband you pay for.. its being able to sort it when it goes wrong that you pay for!! I would pay more for my broadband anyday knowing i can pick up the phone and speak to a human in the UK and its not going to cost me $$$$ for a 10 minute conversation with Kuldip in Deli who knows less about computers than my nan. Zen are superb.. also try some of the smaller ISP's. Plus.net also get a thumbs up from me too. |
