Heres a little car related test for the car enthusiasts out there(or saddo's as where sometimes known)

http://carcloseups.mtv.co.uk/ i scored the maximum 50/50 cos i'm sad

but if i'm honest i had to search for the model number of number 7 on the net as i wasn't sure and had to find out how to spell the model name of number 8

Great quiz, although it’s really difficult because of the accuracy of spelling and the exact name for the car being required. A few of the cars I identified very easily but seemed to spend an age trying to come up with the preferred name. One Italian car was a right pain! Even though it is incredibly easy to identify. Oh and I only got 48 points

, thats 24 out of the 25 cars (2 points per car). Got number 23 wrong! It won’t tell me the answer

EDIT: I got number 7 right but also struggled with the spelling of number 8. Didn't use the internet at all though

Anyone doing this quiz for the first time, be warned, the postings below contain some of the answers.

23 is a ferrari F40,but that was easy for me as its my favourite ferrari ever built,possibly even my favourite supercar ever built

I put *e**a** (hidden so as not to spoil it for others) in to the manufacturer’s box several times and it told me it was wrong, so I gave up on that thought and then out of persistence went through every manufacturer I could think of…!!! Bugger!!! Perhaps it was the extremely late time at night that made me spell it inckooreectly or something. You might want to edit that post now thanks, so other people won’t know what the answer is. Still, great quiz, just very tricky on being able to correctly name the vehicles to the sites accord though.

I clicked onto the site and found that i really couldn't answer any or maybe work has just bored me into not wanting to do anything, either way, i don't think i'm a car enthusiast (or saddo).

I bet you could. Don’t be put off by the cross that comes up as soon as you start to type your answer. It turns to a tick as soon as you have finished spelling your answer. It is VERY particular about what you call the car though. I found the colours of the cars helped to identify them quite a lot too.

Lets just say, i thought number 3 was going to be a Renault Clio and it was wrong.

The only one that I cannot get make and/or model for is images 10 and 15.

I have at least one for all the other pictures (with the help of the whole garage)

10 is made by a company who are quite big in F1 and in the early '90s made a road-going supercar capable of 231mph

They have also recently worked with a big German manufacturer to build a new supercar
