| Got home today to discover my father has been robbed of £830 from his debit card. Looks to me about the conversion rate for 1000 euros, and given it had the description on the statement as "travel money" or something, that would back that up.Luckily the bank have agreed to cover the loss, but it is worrying - my father is very careful about where he uses his card, checks the security of websites when ordering online and has Norton up to date and forever scanning the computer. Makes me begin to wonder if it is actually possible to avoid these fraudsters now. ![]()
