| Re: Council Tax refunds This alleged misbanding story has been doing the rounds for several months. I suspect the ITV coverage the other night may be why the English web site is busy! We've got a slightly different set-up north of the border but the potential for errors is the same. i have therefore competed the form on the web page today and fired it off. I'm looking to be down banded to match identical houses in the immediate area. With any luck my appeal, back dated to April 1993, will bring a refund of £2K  We await with interest.................. |

| Briskodian | Re: Council Tax refunds I appealed and got my house downgraded in 1999! Seeing as it's based on the value in 1988? (can't remember year off hand) it wouldn't currently have much affect on the selling price. |
