Cut-throat shaves....

I treated myself to a cut-throat shave yesterday at a rather swish barber shop in manchester. Over an hour in the chair, hot towels, moisturisers, exfoliation.....

and today...
I don't need to shave.

So a big to The Gentry Grooming Company.

Might even look inot learning how to do it myself at home.

They are ace, i cant get a decent one up here, i think i'd need to go to the city barbers in glasgow to get one.

Last time i had one was in the main street in Gosport when i was down that way on business, I make sure i go in every time I am down

I suspect a week in Turkey is probably not that much more expensive than an hour at the Gentry Grooming Company.
I am tempted to get into Manchester though - really cant beat a cut-throat shave.
Oh - and I remember when I was in Turkey - I took another guy from the hotel with me the second time I went, and so the barber gave me a free beer as well for my quid!

£25 for the shave. get to watch sky sports on a big plasma, drink (iirc there was option of a beer/wine etc, which seemed to be included)
Not to be overlooked is the additional "bonus" of a rather pleasant young lady of oriental extraction with a (i think) canadian accent, which i could have listened to all day.
A rather agreeable two hours in total (had indian head/neck/shoulder massage as well, what a big ....)

While Turkey might have the weather, i can't see myself going there every month for a treat...lol

Re: Cut-throat shaves....

I got a cut-throat shave or 2 in Turkey too.

The little candle thing they used to burn the hairs off my ears and the lime face mask thingy came as a bit of a surprise but my skin always came out glowing.
