| In my experience yes. The potential for 'accidents' is huge.

| It would be a bad idea to stay in the spare room........The potential for 'accidents' is greatly diminished ![]()

| Briskodian | Go for it - what harm can it do... its not like you will be embarassed by your hidden pimples/birthmarks - she's seen them all before. Does she like fire doors? |

| It depends why she's an ex. If she's inviting you round because you're friends, I don't really see the problem. If she's just after a bootycall...I don't really see the problem. ![]() Rob. |

| Briskodian | Look at it this way, currently she's your ex and thats fine (I presume?) so if you were to bed her "by accident" then decide it was a bad idea what have you lost? You both get a good night of rumpy pumpy and in the morning she's still an ex. Overall, no change. |

| I don't see any problem with it, unless either of you have new partners. Then I see there could be problems. Granted; their problems, but still problems.

| Nearly posted a message then remembered a few people I know read this forum. I got into enough trouble just meeting an ex in a pub toilet.

| let's get one thing absolutely straight... the question is in relation to staying overnight in a spare room. not sharing her room or anything even remotely suggestive. stop thinking with contents of your pants guys. please, just for a half hour. Never thought I'd see myself writing this, but so far, Spinndrift has been the voice of sanity... ![]() |

| I bumped into my ex in a while ago after not seeing her for a few years (she posts on here sometimes so I need to be careful). I was in a pub and bumped into her as I left the toilet - cue lots of crying and her telling me she loved me. It really screwed up my head.

| If you're still "friends" (don't ask why I put that in inverted commas, I just did ) then I see no problem with it. Maybe with some alcohol to lubricate things, some honesty and truths will come forth? (PS: Thats not meant to sound as rude as it does...)

| I bumped into my X once, damn did she dent the bonnet as she went over it! But really aslong as you dont have a current flame and you keep your wits about you I cant see there being a big problem!

My new girlfriend doesn't like it much when I go. That was my point. Not saying you need to be doing anything. If you are on good terms I don't see any problems, but it doesn't mean other people will think the same.

| Unless you know exactly how she now feels about you and that its purely plutonic, and neither of you get the wrong idea then fine. Otherwise don't even think about it!! It would be the equivalent of walking blindfolded into a mine field with only the use of your tackle to find a way through to the other side!! Now, think about it, do you still want to do it?? JD
