| Briskodian | Eating out, Stoke on Trent, ideas? Anybody know of a decent eating place in Stoke on Trent (maybe closer to Hanley)? Don't mind what - indian, pub, italian etc. Just be nice to have some idea as there are limited reviews on the net. Cheers.

| Briskodian | Re: Eating out, Stoke on Trent, ideas? Sangams in Stoke - indian = good, fresh food and cheap portofinos in Hanley - italian = middle of the road italian really Mr chans in Hanley - chineese = all you can eat and plenty of variety, set prices Blue Chilli in Newcastle undwe lyme - thai = really really nice top end food, bit pricey The Plough - Hanley / Etruria - English pub food = really good traditional pub food, and steaks to die for, hope that helps, Rob |

| Re: Eating out, Stoke on Trent, ideas? I like the Plume of Feathers at Barlaston. Nice varied menu, premium quality traditional food at very reasonable prices. ![]()

| Re: Eating out, Stoke on Trent, ideas? Plume is nice to. If you go west of Stoke on the A53, where it meets the A51 there is the Swan with Two Necks. Just been refurbished with new owners. Food very good.

| Re: Eating out, Stoke on Trent, ideas? Another vote for Portophino's. It is the best Italian I have ever been too. Also, on the a34 just outside Newcastle-u-lyme is Buffet Island, chinese buffet place. That is really good too. Steve
