Fuel Price Petition

Hey people,

They will probably do sod-all but if enough of us get behind it, you never know...

This is a petition that is being circulated throughout England that will
be presented to Gordon Brown requesting the current fuel prices be
lowered to an acceptable level.

If you agree that we are paying too much for our petrol and feel
strongly enough to want to sign then please click on the above link and
follow the directions. However if you are happy to pay petrol at the current
prices then please disregard this mail and accept my apologies for
troubling you.

Petition to: Reduce Fuel duty to bring fuel prices back to an acceptable level.

Re: Fuel Price Petition

If the government drops fuel prices by more than 4p a litre then they will have to get the extra back by taxing something else......any suggestions as to what you would like to be taxed more on ? at the moment the ones who use it are the ones who pay it

What about the millions they have already made in the last few months with all the rises?

Where is all this money going?

This is a wind-fall, and therefore unbugetted, tax. This can be reduced now and the government coffers will still be in the black.

These petitions are ok, but don't do much, I think the only way of doing something about all this is next general election DON'T VOTE for them, but that means everyone in the country, because as we all now it not just petrol that is a problem there is a lot of other matters as well, and to say and to say conservatives are better than Labour etc, they are all the same, lead up to the election, they say what they are going to d then once elected what do the do? Example: labour said they were going to sort out the hospitals AND!

So my vote is for Clarkson, at least he would be on the side of the motorist as for the hospitals, can't do any worse !
