Unhappy If Bad Things Happen In 3's, What's Next?

So yesterday I started the day with the coolant light on so had to check that out and top up the levels etc, this morning was make or break for the sensor - all started fine, no warning lights.
So.......... I pull of the drive, hear a strange noise so I stopped the car just up the road and discover I have a flat tyre .
To add insult to the injury after removing the sub from the boot to get the spare and jack etc out I cannot remove one of the wheel nuts as the hex head is shot to pieces.
The dealer must've been using his F**&$£ tight spec torque wrench when they had it in last cos it's not coming off which means I'm stuck at home waiting for the tyre company to come out and attempt to remove the wheel for me.

Even better tomorrow morning we're finally fitting 4 new yoko's to the missus's corsa so it couldn't come at a better time.
What's next?

Hey I've had several sets of 3s this year

Gets to me sometimes but at the end of the day, you've just got to crack on with life

'kin' 'ell!!!

I thought that my 12 stones balancing on a female friend's shoulders and bouncing on the end of a 3 foot breaker bar, whilst her 10 stone BF attempted to push the brake pedal through the bulkhead was over-tightened!

Re: If Bad Things Happen In 3's, What's Next?

Well the good news is the second call out got the stud out in 5 mins
He did comment on how tight is was though...

Bad news is this means I'm now back in work

ho hum, and I'll be another £100 lighter by the time the weekends through! Pah.
Think I may have to invest in a set of those stud removers, and I definately will be taking out all the others and spraying some wd40 in there before replacing.

Used to happen to me - but I depended on the car for a living (private-hire).
All the bills would come at once, then leave me alone for 6 months - 1 year before they'd clobber me again.
Not nice at all.

Sympathies.

Re: If Bad Things Happen In 3's, What's Next?

Well No.3 has happened!
We were doing the weekly shop in the supermarket, got a distressed call from my mother saying she'd lost here new puppy so we hot footed through the checkout and headed over.
Had to go the back lanes as there's a fair on so the main road is a right pain and on the way a car was in the middle of the road round a bend - I swerved into the verge and hit the brakes hard but we still hit .
1 shattered (electric, colour coded!) door mirror for me.
1 knackered mirror glass and a shattered door glass for the other driver.
Stopped and went back, she claims I'm going too fast, I state she's in the middle of the road etc etc, eventually I said "look I can get in my car and drive off or we can sort this out!" so I then spend the next 30 mins in a no mobile signal area cleaning out glass from her seat, footwell and dashboard while we exchanged details.
By the time I'd finished she'd calmed down (by the way the AA refused to attend ) and thanked me for staying and clearing up etc.
Next the insurance fun I expect although I think I can just replace the mirror glass as the casing only has a minor crack in it which I think will pop back in and the motor still works etc. Saving grace was the wires for the heated mirror held it from dropping off completely.
That's my 3 bits of bad luck so be gone unlucky curse!!!

Oh, and the flippin gdo was found by the time we got there
