| Briskodian | Insuruing individual household items. Further to my HDTV purchase, I'm wondering about insurance against acidental damage/theft etc. However, we havent exchanged on our house yet so am still lodging with the out-laws for the next month or so. They're tight sods whos household insurance doesnt cover accidental damage ![]() Is it possible to get an insurance policy to cover just the TV? If so, would a normal company (Direct Line etc.) offer this ? |

| Briskodian | Re: Insuruing individual household items. Hi I don't know, but the cost of insuring a push bike on its own was fairly prohibitive. I'm wondering if you could offer to pay the folks to upgrade their insurance whilst you're there and to include "goods temporarily away from home" till you get installed in your new abode? Your removal company should have proper insurance, and it might be worth checking that cover for expensive items also. I guess the insurance company who you are expecting to choose for your contents once installed might be a good first port of call? Regards Mo Last edited by heresmo; 12-05-2006 at 12:30. |
