We don't get that many round here....last one was about 15 years ago ....latest

Police arrested a 17-year-old from Marlborough on suspicion of murder just after 9am today.
His arrest followed a four day investigation into the death of Hugh Campbell, 57, who lived in Herd Street in Marlborough. Mr Campbell's body was discovered when police broke into his house on Friday.
Police forensic teams combed the house yesterday and a post mortem took place the same day conducted by Home Office pathologist Hugh White.
An inquest is due to open into Mr Campbell's death this afternoon at Salisbury.

Serious note - why kill a tramp! Sure enough they smell, drink and sleep on the streets - but thats 2 out of the 3 for most people like you or I!!!

It is quite shocking - in the true sense that you'd never have thought it would happen where you live. I know of five (three different locations). It is hard to know whether it was "a mugging that went wrong" or there was a deliberate intent. Either way, it's very disconcerting and a bigger incentive to stay in at night - like an unwritten curfew. Not so good.

the one in marlborough-he was a drug dealer and it was 17 year old who killed him so that was drug related. teh one in pewsey was the husband beat up and killed his wife!

Our last murder was a drug dealer, and suspected revenge killing for his brother killing a guys two sisters and leaving another paralysed about 17~18 years ago.
Scary stuff.
