Baisically I'm fed up with life and the world we live in. I mean, we all work ourselves into the ground and what do we have to show for it at the end of the month.

More expence at the pumps, at the supermarket, utility bills going through the roof etc, etc............................................... ........ And what do the goverment seem to be doing about it, Feck all, appart form d1cking us with spin and utter ballcocks about how great Britain is. No its not, its a 5h1te hole.

Don't get me wrong when I say this, why do we all bother to work and pay taxes and national insurance when people from other countries can come here and get all the services we pay for for free, or in some cases, get even more than we do??

What the hell is going on folks. I don't understand any more.

Please understand that I don't intend to offend any one with my little rant and rave, but FFS!!!

Don't disagree with you, however this country also breeds it's fair share of parasites that bleed it's own countryfolk dry.

Same ole story either way.....those that already give, have to give more

and those that just take, continue to do so.

Us that are working are also on the sick......sick of working 1.5 days per week just to give it away in tax or NI.

Don't forget folks ............ work harder - - - people on welfare depend on you.

yeah i know what you mean mate. im still struggling to get onto the property ladder, when all it seems i need to do is knock up some concil bike, or arrive on a boat speaking a different language (again no offence to anyone) every time i get a new job, negoiate more money, or get a pay rise its always one step behind the prices for everything!

but you just gotta keep on slogging it out with the world and make sure you give it a black eye every now and again

believe me when i say you are not alone. ive been struggling to find my get up and go for a while. i work to pay my debts and thats about it. i think the breaking point for me was a few points ago when i realised id worked 42 out of 48 hrs, and i wouldnt be able to enjoy a penny of it. but thats just one of many things happening in my slippery slope at the moment. and quite often think what the f is the point of it all at the moment.
but it has to get better!

I'm realy peed off when the good folks of this world work as hard as they can and just get a slap in the face for their efforts, or the victims of crime get a raw deal from the courts and the offender can claim "human rights abuses" and get away with it.

You're so right in saying that "the good folks of this world work as hard as they can and just get a slap in the face for their efforts", but (and speaking as a historian and therefore maybe sounding a bit cynical), there's nothing new about that - it's an description of human life that pretty well depicts the last millennias. It's shameful since there's no necessity about it (no physical laws).

I think that what I'm trying to say is that the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence. And even if we all are fed up now and then we must try to avoid despair and carry on with those small acts of humanity that make our existence tolerable (on the whole), joyful (now and then) and hopefully lead to a (slightly) better future.
