Over and out

I finally sold my Fabia TDI last week.

Just to say thanks to everyone on Briskoda (in particular Steve, Ross and Jason) for advice in maintaining and upgrading the car. By the time it went, it had been subjected to a 60mm ghetto-slam, dangerously boosty remap and a load of bodywork damage acquired from a year and a half parked on a London street. It was raucous to drive, and genuinely one of the most enjoyable cars I have ever owned - I wish I had got some V-Box figures for it as it was mad enough to consitently scare the crap out of motoring journalist colleagues

It has gone to someone in the VW scene and I think you will bee seeing it again (with minty fresh paintwork and probably on BBS splits or some other amazing wheels)

I can now be found, travelling sedately whilst looking much like a kid who has borrowed his dad's car, in a 1996 Volvo 850 auto TDI.

Re: Over and out

Well done Jamie - glad it's gone to another enthusiast. Enjoy the barge, sorry, Volvo

Hope it makes another appearance on here in the not too distant future. Has it gone to another E38er?

Steve

I don't know. You'll be telling us you've started polishing your shoes next

Hopefully your new car comes with a forcefield to avoid street damage? Perhaps a "Beware of the Owner" sticker? Hope you enjoy your new car
