Re: Princess Diana Inquest............

How many inquests have we already had? It seems like there's been a few?
I don't read the Daily Diana, but no doubt they're creaming themselves at yet another opportunity for column inches.

at the risk of sounding uncaring, does it really matter??? Yes it was awful that two lads were left without their mum but it happens up and down the country daily with RTA's that barely get a mention in the local press.

So as far as i can see, it's been, its done and really folks its time to move on.

Re: Princess Diana Inquest............

An inquest after this long is hardly likely to turn up any startling new evidence anyway. On the other hand, anyone who dies in suspicious or unusual circumstances is entitled to an inquest, that's the law.

Re: Princess Diana Inquest............

There's a conspiracy theory?

I have to say I find the idea that Diana was murdered in full public view in a tunnel to be farcical to say the least.

Complete waste of time.

Re: Princess Diana Inquest............

I remember I was on exercise 'somewhere in Lancashire' the morning it happened. I'd just got my head down for the first time in 42 hours, when my oppo woke me up to tell me the news. My response: "She'll still be dead later - so f&*% off and let me sleep!!!"

Has rather clouded my judgement of the whole affair, I must admit...

I never held to the theory of an MI6 agent in the Uno directing laser light at Henri-Paul's eyes anyway

Suspicious? A car driven at high speed with an intoxicated driver crashes in a tunnel? Who would have thought it could happen

Cause of death - failing to wear a seatbelt.

I've just saved the tax payer several million £££££s.

Please put the cheque in the post.

Nope, I too never really gave much of a toss, sure it's sad the 2 boys lost there mother but she was no better than anyone else.

I thought all those people crying in the streets etc who never even met her, let alone knew her personaly were quite pathetic really.

If and only if they die in the UK. The last time I looked, Paris was in France, ie abroad and not subject to UK law!

On repatriation a corpse becomes subject to UK law again, and an inquest will be held if the death was in unnatural circumstances...

Fifthed.

I wished her no ill, but I always thought she was very self serving. Still it was a tradgedy that two young boys lost their mother and have had her death dragged through the media as an endless circus.
