Why do you suppose it's needed "NEW XENON BULBS"?

And how does installing a "NEW K&N AIR FILTER" sit against it having been "NOT MODIFIED SINCE LEAVING SKODA UK"?

Could be. I was more interested in the "Blueprinting" as it's something thats done a lot with the mkII golf GTi together with the polishing/enlarging of the inlet/outlet ports. I've not heard of it been done on the 1.8 20v though. Can't remember the name of the company but it's somewhere near bristol is (just remembered TSR) does the heads for £647 but doesn't quote any extra performance due to the number of valves

My thoughts exactly - why carry out an expensive blueprint when you could do a remap for £400 ?

Someone could always ask him if he has proof of it being "blueprinted" also his 204.59875bhp could be from an old set of rollers, some wild claims have been shown from standard cars in the past.

they say its got a 1.8t audi tt enigne. well it can't be the 225 one as the inlet manifold is the wrong one for the twin intercooler setup.

Perhaps and email to Skoda customer service to see if they ever blueprinted any engines for use in Octys might be in order.

And 15k miles for an ex-demo. Thats massive miles.
