As per THIS thread, I might give this a go on the new aquisition

I did mate, and just like on the previous octy it does work, the difference in the engine firing up is night and day

Having done this on both our vRS's i have to say it's a must do mod..... Even if you don't really notice a difference the cost of a couple of quid means your not really loosing much etc....

I've already done it on my vRS ages ago, this was more a question to see if anyone had done it on the Roomster

Is this the mod with just the grease? Or the mod where you remove the baffles around the MAF?

Its the grease mod on connector plug.

Yeah got that, but i seem to remember the original thread from Josh detailing removing the baffles whihc is why I though it's called the cage mod.
