| Ive got the 1.4tdi r 2 until recently I was delivering around the local doors & getting about 45 mpg, sometimes 50 if I was being careful. Not really loaded but often in queues & all sorts of weather My business has changed alot & occasionally Im doing longer trips fully loaded, the 1.4 dosent seem to have a problem with the full load plus another person. Pushing it I get a good 50 - 52 ( doing 65 to 80). & taking it easy 60mpg was normal. I have also mentioned that I added some magnet fuel boosters to the vehicle (& got shot down in flames by some guys on here) but got immediately & still getting 60mpg + when pushing the car up to 80mpg as I usually do. taking it easy I can get 71mpg on a long trip loaded - usually 60mph I cant think of anything better mpg wise unless you buy something old & convert it to run on veg oil - worth the investment if you do it right G
