| I don't have the 1.4 so can't comment directely but I do have the 1.6 and I find Skoda's claim's to be accurate on that.

| Just hammered up to Chatham from Southampton and back. Cruised at indicated 70-75mph whenever possible on the way up, and returned 53mpg. Got 50 mpg on the way back, from which you may draw your own conclusions. This was my first longish run in my month-old Roomster, and I'm VERY pleased with those consumption figures. Stuart |
