Don't bring that kind of talk in here! Next thing we know there will be a Max power feature and people will be fitting spoilers, induction kits and asking questions like "I'm 17 and my insurance is £3000, why is this? or What are the best tyres under £25? These questions will usually be preceded by "I used the search but it didn't turn up anything". Next thing we know there will be Roomy's with Kenwood Stickers everyhere!

In this forum we talk about fuel economy, the best baby seats and how much stuff we can put in the boot (Says the man who fitted a RARB to his )

That car went off the road and clipped a barrier or such like at speed. It's been put there by the recovery team (Towing eye attached). It's probably fixable, just....

If you look on the thread "10000 miles gone in a Scout" it is mentioned there that the Roomster wheels ARE prone to kerbing!!

Central reservation barrier vs car = no contest

That can be repaired assuming the body shell isnt bent, if it is then the cost may be prohibitive already...

The angle of the scrape line is perplexing. I guess it was moving rather than hit, as it must have hit something with its front right corner, but kept going rather than dead halt. See I'd have thought the scrape would be going upwards towards the back in almost any scenario, so a proper puzzle to me.

Ouch, that looks expensive.

Just one thing, do you know the owner? If not i would cover their numberplate in pic, i know for one if someone had posted my crash photos all over net within 24 hours of it happening before insurance etc. were involved i wouldn't be to happy

I know, I started the thread.

The damage is consistant with what happened to my Mk4 Astra estate in 2002 when I hit the central res doing 70mph. I didn't damage the wheel though, and it was a £1000 just to do the body work.

That Roomy has been deposited there rather than being at the scene of the accident.
