Question Steering

I'm new to Skoda and therefor new to Roomster as well as this site.
I've covered over 1500 miles now and my new purchase is ideal for my (and the wife's) needs.
The only thing that does cause concern is the car's tendency to pull to the nearside. My supplying dealer has tested it and says it's about the same as other Roomies, however I'm sure that the demo car we had for two days didn't have this pull. The dealer also offered me an identical car to test. That was perfect, no pull at all.
Have other forum members had an experience of this and is there fix for it?
I should say that the car is a Roomster2 1.9 tdi and the dealer checked the wheel alignment and found it spot on.
Any comments about others experience would be appreciated.

Re: Steering

Absolutely no trace of pull on mine (1.9 diesel). In fact handling and stability are superb.

Yep, I'll second that.

The whole chassis is extremely impressive, especially for a tall car.

In fact I was thinking that Skoda should definitely make a Roomster vRS... I find the handling much better than my Octy1 1.8T and they turned that into an RS so...

It could easily handle much more power than my 1.6 offers, although one advantage I have is that there is much less weight over the front axle than you TDI guys.

Question Re: Steering

Thanks to those who have already replied. Any further comments would still be appreciated.
All the obvious things have been checked at my request by the supplying dealer, so no easy answer.
I have 'tested' the car on all kinds of cambers, power on, power off, braking, freewheeling, uphill, downhill. None of this makes any difference, so no clue as to the cause.
Any ideas as to what to look at next?

Re: Steering

Mine pulls like that slightly. Checked everything nowt wrong.

However, my Fabia used to pull left to an almost annoying level from new and that went through all types of alignments etc. and it came down to the tyres/wheels

Try swapping your wheels round.

Re: Steering

Thanks, Decron. This might just make the difference.
I assume change form side to side rather than back to front.
I'll try side to side and see if it makes any difference.
