What is the Roomster's front speaker size?

Hello.

I just ordered a new Roomster. And I want to change all the audio system in the car.

Does anybody know what is the size of the front door speakers?

Thanks.

I'm also interesting in Roomster front-rear speakers size.

I hate low quality speakers, so I need better ones!

My Advise would be , once you have the car listen to the factory system and then decide if your money would be better spent elsewhere. I like loud music and the factory system is pretty good.

I can second this. Maybe some Dynamat and a small underseat sub to fill it all out would help (I have done the sub and it's really good) but the system fitted to the Roomy is one of the best OEM systems I have ever come across.

I agree, wait until you have tried it out before spending any money elsewhere. The standard setup is pretty good.
The radio performance is probably the best I have had in a car for about 25 years.

Glad to hear the standar radio is pretty good, but I'm a true perfectionist and used to great audio performance...

So, nobody measuring that speakers?

Problem is....

Because they are good, no one has bothered changing them...

The Fabia, Octy, Golf and a lot of others are 165mm and these look about the same.

Like I said try before you buy then if its not up to your audio perfectionist standards then you can take your own door panels off and measure them. And then spend your spare time trying to get rid of all the rattles in the panels you might have introduced.

Which underseat sub did you use and how does it connect to the head unit?
Any pics?

Think it's the Alpine SWB 1600?

It connects via a line convertor (Loaded connection from rear speakers i had to wire in) as no aux out or sub line is there. It's actually powered from the same line as the stereo as well (This was me being lazy). I did my sums, figured it was worth the risk and it;s been fine for two months. It sits under the passenger seat. Ill take photos on the weekend if I have time
