| I have just got a 1994 Favorit GLXi Estate which is fine except when ever you put it into reverse the heated rear window and rear fog lights come on. If you put on just the heated rear window the fogs and reversing lights come on etc. Any ideas where the problem might be located? Thanks David |

| Water/corrosion in the fuse box, poor earth at the rear lights. Are all these lights in the tailgate?, if so check for broken wires where the loom goes into the tailgate at the hinge. |

| I'm having similar problems. Put on rear de-mister and I think it was rear fogs came on, tapped the fuebox and it cured it. I think the problems I am having are in the fusebox. If it was the earth I am sure tapping the fusebox wouldn't do anything. I have tried removing all the plugs and relays and using contact cleaner but no change, in fact I think I may have made it slightly worse. |

| maybe you have a dogey splice or fuseholder somewhere on the fuse box?? they are notoriously difficult to diagnose and fix too, so good luck!

| fusebox souuunds good for the fault, i have bother with one of mine too. also, just maybe, try the cables running from the top of the tailgate into the car to see if they're frayed. sounds odd that the HRS would come on with lights if its fusebox end related. |

| the problems , in my experience lie with the wiring where it leaves the body and goes into the top of the tail gate . here they split and short together, or the earth breaks and power backfeeds up the other wires
