| Re: gearbox oil level IIRC gearboxes have a screw on the side that is opened and oil is filled until it starts to come out of this hole, indicating it's full. Not something you usually check or change unless IN a major service. Better ask a real mechanic IMHO Cheers! bAS

| Re: gearbox oil level Look at the back of the gearbox from the top where the speedo drive is bolted.Remove 9mm bolt and remove speedo drive (you can leave the cable connected).Looking down the hole,you can see a ledge,the level of oil need to just cover that.Make sure the car is level of course ! |
