Default It's that time again (MOT worries).

I don't know if I am alone in worrying about taking my car to the MOT test. I get butterflies in the stomach and it feels like I am going for my driving test all over again. Anyway, I was due to take my 105 LUX, and to ease the stress I thought I would share with you all - in photos. See below.

Entering the forecourt of the test station.

In line for the test.

Now it is my turn. Sharing space with one of it's younger siblings too - do they communicate?.

Went a walk when I was waiting and found this:

And the result.

Cheers, Ian

Congratulations on passing the MOT

Thank you both. It is always a good feeling to go through with no problems - another year of legal motoring ahead.

I sometimes wish the car was not so nice - strange thing to say, but it seems to attract attention when I am out. When I park it I sometimes come back to find someone hovering about near it. Usually they just want a chat, but one time someone was looking through the window and when they saw me coming they ran off. You used to be able to leave Estelles with the keys in the ignition without worries - how times change.

One nice thing is that sometimes pedestrians wave or point and smile as I pass, a little bit like the responce a certain Italian supercar gets as it travels by, so I hear .

Ian

I suppose you could call the actions that go with a Ferrari waving (with a fist) and pointing (with the middle finger pointing upwards!)

If I saw an old estelle like yours in that condition, I'd peer through the window too, just to see if it was as nice on the inside!

lovely looking car

Thanks again. Yes it is as new inside - I keep it in a dry garage to prevent sun damage. I did order a set of CZ made fitted covers from as well S4 - lovely quality and perfect fit - wonder if Graham can still get them....

Wow , what a stunning looking car! If there hadnt been some modern cars present , I'd have said you'd cheated and posted pics up from 1987!
