| Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys had any ideas about the problem my friend is suffering on his R reg 1.0 Seat Arosa. Basically if he starts the engine and leave it to idle it's fine, however when he's driving it and come to a stop at a junction the revs drop to 500rpm then bounce upto 800rpm and on occasion the engine completely dies. Any pointers for him? I thought maybe it was an anti-stall mechanism that was a bit iffy but I don't know if the 1.0 Arosa has such a thing. |

| I'd clean the throttle body out and reset its basic settings. Then recheck for any fault codes.
