Unhappy Parts to take off Vlad before he goes for scrap

Got to the point that I am going to have to scrap Vlad, so I am aiming to take as much off him as possible.

Skoda badges are spoken for.

Do you think it is worth keeping the 5x alloys?

Does anyone need any parts that I can get off easily? All would be free of charge to Briskoda members, ideally collection only from any point between Exeter and Essex or at the BBQ meet coming up in May.

I am only living in this house for another week, I have left it a bit late really. I can't belive how worked up I am getting over this, but that car really meant a lot to me.

Still, anything anyone wants??

They haven't seen the state of it!

also the price of steel has gone up and manufacturers have to help pay for recycling the car, so any cost by the scrap dealer is recovered in this.

You are best (to get the most money for it) to take the car to the scrapper, and take the wheels away with you again. They charge money for you to leave the wheels. Also, remove the suspension struts, drain the oil and any other fluids, as they also charge for de-polluting. If you can "clean" it for them, you should get around £70 a ton, which might net you around £50 for vlad.

Take it to G H Newbery on Marsh Barton - Turn in to the side road by the vaxuhall garage (opposite the McDonalds complex) and it's on the right at the end. A very good scrap metal merchant whose accounts I can confirm are in very good order.
