| I built a Banham 130 Spyder (Porsche 550 Spyder Replicar) out of a Skoda Rapid. It has been a fantastic car but I never got the temperature gauge to read properly. I used a set of earlier guages, the round ones, and plugged them into the later loom. The fuel gauge and all the indicator lights work OK but the temperature gauge goes off the scale as soon as the engine gets hot or I immerse the sender in a kettle of boiling water. Any ideas anyone? Could it need a voltage stabiliser? |
